Mini Buzzz has taken the world by storm. At approximately 62-65 grams and about six inches (15cm) across, it's larger and heavier than your standard mini. Looks awesome, flies great and always provides a ton of fun!
Is the Mini Buzzz PDGA legal? It is enthusiastically approved by virtually everyone who throws it as the coolest mini ever, but some players have wanted to know about its use in official events: At 15cm, Mini Buzzz is legal to use as a marker disc. It is not PDGA approved as a golf disc.
PDGA
Mini Marker discs must have a circular shape, with a diameter ranging from 7 cm to 15 cm
and a height not exceeding 3 cm. Mini marker discs can be made from a variety of materials
Discraft
We were captivated by the flying disc craze of the 1970's. To interact with a spinning disc and watch it fly is truly a beautiful thing. Our frustration at the time was over the quality of the discs that were available; flight patterns were inconsistent, distance potential was low, and the quality in general was poor. Those discs were manufactured to be toys, and we wanted high performance sports equipment to keep up with the increasing skills of the players. In 1978 we launched Discraft to serve disc sports athletes.
