Want to get in the Zone? The Discraft Zone is a slim putter with a thick rim that gives you something to hold on to. This is a very overstable putter that is good for headwinds, strategic fades, forehand throws, flick putts, and slamming into chains at just the right angle. Many Discraft enthusiasts will have a Zone in their bag as a putter that gets them out of a situation where a Flick, or sidearm putt is their only option. Being so overstable, this disc can handle the torque that a Flick will put on it!
Discraft Putter Line plastic was a hybrid of the original Pro-D base plastic to upgrade it for increased durability and grip. The Putter Line Soft is a more flexible, softer version of the blend for players who prefer extra soft discs. This 2021 update made the putters feel better for use in differing weather conditions and made it more of a mid-grade plastic blend.
Discraft
We were captivated by the flying disc craze of the 1970's. To interact with a spinning disc and watch it fly is truly a beautiful thing. Our frustration at the time was over the quality of the discs that were available; flight patterns were inconsistent, distance potential was low, and the quality in general was poor. Those discs were manufactured to be toys, and we wanted high performance sports equipment to keep up with the increasing skills of the players. In 1978 we launched Discraft to serve disc sports athletes.
