The Moomin artwork series
Our successful collaboration with the Moomin characters continuous and the second set is now available.

All artwork is original and taken from the book series written by the praised Finnish author and artist, Tove Jansson. She came up with the first stories about the Moomins during the WW2 and they were released soon after. Her books have been a part of almost every childhood in Scandinavia, but their depth and mature storytelling make them loved by adults as well.

And even though her authorship deal with philosophical perspectives on life, the hardship of creativeness and the harrowing feeling of living under a constant threat, it always leaves you with a warm and friendly sensation inside.

K1 Soft Kaxe
A fast midrange driver or slow fairway driver? Some would say it's both. A true multi-purpose disc that has become the favorite control driver for many players.

Appreciated for its predictable flight, the Kaxe will come in handy in numerous situations on the course. Due to its slim proportions and decent stability, Kaxe handles wind well without being very overstable. Kaxe is an old Swedish word for a self-confident person.

Kastaplast

Kastaplast is an independent disc manufacturer based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Our brand is dedicated to the disc golf culture, the people, the lifestyle and all the fun times all around the disc golf world. We look at disc golf as a grassroot movement with its own unique identity; characterized by spontaneity, individuality and freedom.

Starting off in 2011 as a small prototyping workshop, driven by the fun factor of experimenting, the business soon grew out of the basement as Jonas Lindberg was joined by Anders Källström and Per Jonson. Still, the “workshop style” of developing discs has stayed, with a mix of computer flight simulation, research and extensive prototyping.

Kastaplast is determined to keep the ecological footprint as low as possible. One step in this direction is the use of solar energy that today empowers a major part of our production. Recycling is another. Moving in the direction of sustainability is important to us and it is an ongoing process.
