"I don't care a fig for other people's secrets. And I certainly don't broadcast them all over the place. Anyway, they all come out sooner or later."
- Littly My

The Moomin artwork series
Kastaplast is happy to present a collaboration with the Moomin brand. Growing up in Sweden, characters like the Moomintroll, Little My, Snufkin, Hemulen, Stinky, Snorkmaiden, Fillyjonk, Sniff and the Hattifatteners are characters we all know. To say the least, Moomin has been part of our childhood, which makes our new collaboration with the Moomin brand very special to us. In a way, we feel that the everyday outdoor struggles in the Moomin valley can be recognized at the disc golf course too. The magic, the hope and the despair.

Moomin was created in the 1940’s by the Finnish writer and artist Tove Jansson and have grown in popularity ever since. The books have been translated into more than fifty languages. In this disc series, the artworks will be based on the artist’s drawings, and the script font is based on her handwriting. Various Moomin characters will appear on the stamps, as well as some words of wisdom heard from the Moomin valley.

K3 Hard Svea
The key word is glide. Use Svea for lazer-straight precision shots, long-lasting anhyzer line or smotth hyzers.

This easy-to-use disc might be your secret weapon to perform the lines you need. However, don’t mistake it for a beginners only disc. Whenever you need massive glide, Svea will deliver. It offers a lower profile than our Göte midrange disc, making it suitable for smaller hands. Easy to grip and easy to release. Svea is an old Swedish name which is derived from the people of Svea Rike, later Sweden.

Kastaplast

Kastaplast is an independent disc manufacturer based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Our brand is dedicated to the disc golf culture, the people, the lifestyle and all the fun times all around the disc golf world. We look at disc golf as a grassroot movement with its own unique identity; characterized by spontaneity, individuality and freedom.

Starting off in 2011 as a small prototyping workshop, driven by the fun factor of experimenting, the business soon grew out of the basement as Jonas Lindberg was joined by Anders Källström and Per Jonson. Still, the “workshop style” of developing discs has stayed, with a mix of computer flight simulation, research and extensive prototyping.

Kastaplast is determined to keep the ecological footprint as low as possible. One step in this direction is the use of solar energy that today empowers a major part of our production. Recycling is another. Moving in the direction of sustainability is important to us and it is an ongoing process.
